Richmond Street Townhouse Development Manchester
This week we went in for planning for the development of a new townhouse scheme on Richmond Street in Manchester City Centre next door to Canal Street.
The planning application will see the much-needed redevelopment of a derelict site to create seven, three-bed townhouses with integral garages and one, two-bed maisonnette apartment. We’ve been worked closely with Snook Architects and Iceni Projects to make sure each home has generously sized rooms, en-suite bedrooms and private roof terraces. The scheme will also provide residents with cycle storage and will be tech efficient offering features such as electric car charging points and mobile monitoring software.
We’re really excited about these townhouses. This housing concept is really set to challenge the way that people live and increase the options that are available for couples and families who want to live here in Manchester. These homes will provide a new city centre solution for people who are looking for a cool, quirky residence who would have otherwise been forced to move outside of the city.
We bought the site off market at the beginning of the year and expect to hear from Manchester City Council next month. If we get the green light, work will start on site later this year.
